Science Lab
We have well equipped Science Lab for high school students with essential apparatus and models providing ample scope to the students.
Computer Lab
The school provides separate computer labs for Primary and High School which are well equipped with all the modern computers with latest Software updates, projectors and other required amenities to make our students future ready for this competitive world.
Library
The school has a well-stocked library with a good collection of books in all the subjects. The vast collection of encyclopaedia and other reference books are provided to quench the thirst for knowledge. To inculcate reading habit right from foundation years, we have a devoted Library class where our Librarian takes the students to the library to take up a book every week.
EduComp SmartClass
The school is Educomp SmartClass enabled which is a benchmark for digital classrooms. SmartClass introduction has helped in improving teaching effectiveness as it helps to handle abstract and difficult curriculum concepts with ease. It also enables teachers to instantly assess and evaluate the learning achieved by their students in class.
When it comes to knowledge capture, our teachers take the role of real facilitators by making efforts in selecting the proper and prescribed information from the school knowledge centre and deliver it to the students in the right time to increase their interest in studies.
MyLycee App
Kairalee Nilayam School is one of the future ready schools which have MYLYCEE App for parents to track the everyday activities of their ward. Parents can keep themselves updated with the academic development, attendance, notices, alerts and home work of their child through this App.
Physical Education
A healthy mind in a healthy body. In support of this, the school encourages various sports and games. The school provides opportunities for students to excel in both indoor and outdoor games. Drill and rhythmic exercise are taught on a regular basis. Sports equipment is provided to the students to enjoy sports. Annual sports meet is held every year. Inter – House sports competition is held to boost the sportsman spirit of the students.
Students are encouraged and trained for inter-school sports competitions and are accompanied to various levels of sports tournament.
NCC programme are regularly conducted. NCC Cadets are taken for NCC Camps. Cadets are trained for the march-past held during National festivals.
Medical check-up is arranged by the Govt. of Karnataka every year and the medical records are maintained by the P.E. Teachers for every student.
Counselling
School Counsellors provide comprehensive programmes and services that help students develop their personal, social, and work lives. Counselling is conducted with students individually, in small groups and in classroom settings. Individual counselling is voluntary and confidential. Counsellors may be involved in helping to resolve student conflicts or temporary difficulties.
Students are seen by the counsellor when:
· Parents request and indicate a need and desire that the School Counsellor meet with their children.
· Students request counselling.
· Teachers, administrators, or other school staff members refer the student.
Art and Craft
We also encourage the Art and Craft activities to explore and express the child’s talent in a variety of ways. Drawing and Painting competitions are held to recognize and acknowledge the upcoming talent.
Music
The incorporation of music in curriculum provides ample scope to tap the talent of students, explore and exercise them. Various forms of music like classical, patriotic, devotional and folk songs are taught. Students are encouraged and prepared to participate and demonstrate their musical talent.
Audio-Visual Room
The audio-visual room is a place where the students of all classes experience learning in an effective way. The audio-visual method appeals most to the senses. It leaves a deeper impact as it involves greater attention in the act of learning. The school has a fully furnished and well maintained audio video room ‘Pratibha Auditorium’ which has a wide collection of educational and library videopedia. Students are occasionally taken to AV room where educational, motivational and traditional media clips are screened which help the students to gain value based information.
News Paper
It is said that newspapers are a window to the world & play a crucial role in mentoring and empowering children as they bring perceptible changes in their skill-sets. It develops concentration, self-reliance and confidence, as well as building vocabulary, use of language and general knowledge. Daily newspapers in Kannada and English are issued to the students of High School in the classrooms to develop their reading skills and update them with the current affairs.
NIE Programme
Besides inculcating reading habits among children, the activities conducted by The Times of India newspaper in Education (NIE) programme will boost their confidence, motivate the students of High School and help develop self-discipline, critical thinking, career guidance and other skills.
Workshops
Workshops are held for the teachers to keep pace with the present curriculum and to update themselves. They also help the teachers to build confidence and imbibe new trend in teaching which further develop their strengths to train students by creating a better learning process.
Parent-Teachers Meeting
PTA meetings are conducted regularly and parents could contact the teachers to know about their ward(s)’ performance. We believe in building a cordial relationship between parents and teachers with a common aim to have a better monitoring of their wards.
Transportation
The school provides GPS enabled transport facility for the convenience of the parent and children. The students are picked up from a point nearby their home and dropped safely for which charges are applicable. CCTV cameras are fixed to ensure the safety of our students.

Mid-Day Meals:
Akshaya Patra Foundation, an initiative by ISKCON, Bengaluru supplies milk and mid-day meals to the students on every working day.
