Cultural Activities
Talents’ Day is conducted in the beginning of every academic year to recognize the student’s cultural talents. Further to motivate their interests in music and dance, Cultural competitions are held every year. Students are encouraged to participate in various inter-school competitions to develop their team spirit.
Annual Day celebrations help to showcase the hidden cultural talents of our students and are a mesmerizing moment to witness them perform on stage.
Club Activities
The high school has several clubs viz. Science, Humanities, Eco, Consumer, Health, IT and Language. Based on the student’s interest in any of these fields, a student could be member of any club.
Quiz and other competitions along with several activities are conducted in each of these clubs so as to maintain and improve the interest and knowledge in their respective field.
Sports / House Activities
The students have been classified into four houses; Yellow, Blue, Green, Red. To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functions of the school, a School Prefectorial is formed through selection process. The nominated leaders are encouraged to be dutiful and responsible. Each house has in-charge teachers and House captains, they co-ordinate to conduct the various sports activities smoothly and to develop the team spirit and leadership qualities in the students.
National holidays and important festivals are celebrated to create traditional awareness in the young minds.
Educational / Field Trips
The importance of Educational trips includes giving students the chance to build closer bonds with their classmates, experience new environments and enjoy a day away from the classroom. When students and teachers are together outside the classroom, students may have the opportunity to observe many things that are not available at school, including exotic wildlife, rare plants and maybe even the stars if the Educational trip is to a planetarium.
The concept of teaching out of classroom is diligently followed in the school, where an educational trip is arranged every year based on the curriculum.
