The Kairalee Nilayam English Higher Primary School(KNEHPS) was established in the year 1952 in a ‘D’ type HAL quarters with the strength of 10 children and a single teacher. 

Kairalee Nilayam High School (KNHS) was established in the year 1970.

KNEHPS and KNHS are recognised and aided by the Govt. of Karnataka.

The school has started its journey with a vision to become one of the leading educational institution. It offers a spacious atmosphere, thus providing an ideal platform for learning. Now we have a strength of 1500 plus students from Grade I to Grade X, guided by the team of well experienced, efficient and dedicated teachers and staff members who work hard throughout for the betterment of students.

Ours is a co – educational English medium aided school, where High school has additional unaided sections. The school is sufficiently equipped with spacious classrooms, all the modern teaching aids, lab facilities, Audio-Visual room, library, good play ground and indoor games. We also have competent Counsellor, Nurse and Music Teacher. CCTV is installed in every corner of the campus and in all the classrooms as well. The school is secured with well-trained security personnel to safeguard our campus 24×7.
